My first business was the tried and true lemonade stand. Except the stand was my nightstand, and the lemonade was powdered Lipton Iced Tea. Sold ice cold on 170th St. between Broadway & Ft. Washington in NYC. I sold out, thanks to all the strangers & neighbors who supported me!
I have been starting things ever since: university chapters, programs and startups, from scratch. Education and childcare are the through line, from newborns to higher ed, in nurseries, clinics, the classroom and the home.
Today I help teachers build schools, champion childcare for working parents, and push for a healthcare system that works for patients, providers and caregivers.
Core value: childlike wonder. And yes, I was Mary Poppins once.

THE PROBLEMThe School of Management wanted to reach local students who did not see the university as an option.
THE MOVEI built a two-year mentoring program with Say Yes Buffalo and Lafayette High School. UB honors students coached high schoolers from idea to pitch deck.
THE RESULTBoth years, students won funding for their real businesses. The honors students learned to lead through uncertainty.

THE MOVEI recruited, trained and managed a cohort of MBA ambassadors. Every inquiry was answered, and I created and facilitated the webinars.
THE RESULTAs part of the enrollment and admissions team, I helped the school enroll its largest MBA class, for 2026-2027.
